What this site does with your data

Every coordinate conversion, CSV upload, KML/DXF export, and unit conversion on Datum Bench runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Files you upload and values you type are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to, or stored on, any Datum Bench server — because there is no server-side processing involved in these tools at all.

Cookies and similar technologies

Datum Bench itself does not set cookies or use browser storage to track you. If this site displays advertising (for example, through Google AdSense) or uses an analytics service (for example, Google Analytics), those third parties may set their own cookies or use similar technologies to serve relevant ads and measure traffic. Where that applies:

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Information we don't collect

This site does not require account creation, does not ask for your name, email, or payment details to use any tool, and does not read the contents of your files for any purpose beyond performing the conversion you requested, in your browser.

Third-party links

Blog articles and reference pages may link to external sites (government survey authorities, EPSG.io, mapping software vendors, and similar). Datum Bench is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external sites.

Children's privacy

This site is a technical utility aimed at surveying, engineering, and GIS professionals and students, and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as tools or third-party services (such as advertising or analytics) are added. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
